9/2 from MI to IL


An ice cream restored us after our hike & we continued onto our campsite.  John Sauk SP is treed with lodgepole pines 
We walked down to the lake as the day was waning & watched the fish jump & flocks of smal birds feasted on an insect supper

    I love the lake pic! It seems like you can hear the trees contemplating their impending color change.
