The tunnel is so narrow oncoming traffic was stopped. We spoke with the Park Ranger as we waited. There were several openings to the outside in the tunnel but no lights so it was Very dark.

Zion
We left Zion for the north Rim of the Grand Canyon on 9/30/12 after walking to the Emerald Pool. Peter walked under the dripping waterfall to explore a little farther down the trail as I watched the rainbow caught in the sunlight between the trees. We decided that we would take 89 through the tunnel to No. rim of Grand Canyon.
