We arrived at Peg & Bob Jones on October 11 and had a wonderful visit with them and exploration of the Graffiti House at Brandy Station (probably so called because of the railroad tracks next to the house) if you want any more information about this Civil War house which was used as a hospital for both the Union & Confederate armies go to http://www.brandystationfoundation.com/graffiti_house.htm

After lunch we went to Montpieler-the home of James Madison (author of our Constitution & 4th President of the USA). Bob is a docent at Montpelier and he gave us a wonderful personal tour.
